My name is Nik. I was born in New York City, into a family of artists. My mother is a German painter and my father is an American Contractor by trade. My family moved to Germany for business opportunities when I was about one year old. We lived there for about 3 years and then moved back to the U.S. when I was four. We took a cross country trek from Florida to Sacramento, California, where I began my education.

I went to the Sacramento Waldorf School, one of the most diverse schools in the world, which was founded by Rudolf Steiner with an education based on Anthropology. I attended SWS from Kindergarten all the way through the 12th grade. The curriculum was based mainly on the human arts (drawing, clay sculpting, singing and acting), which is where I really found my passion for art. I can remember drawing as early as age five, but didn't really realize my talents until about the 6th grade.

Throughout high school, I developed my skills in sketching and clay sculpting, in which I started to find my interest in 3-D art. At the same time, my interest also began to grow in the field of computer science and technology, probably from my father (he taught me how to build and repair anything). In the eleventh grade I was introduced to the ever popular Macintosh Classic (you know... the nice little 50 Lb all in one, with a 6" black and white screen). From there I taught myself computer science, 3D art and graphic design.

I now live in Phoenix working on my artistic portfolio.
